custom matrices or anything I should look into? On a second note, Is there any preset around, or settings you guys could suggest, for my 1080-60i exports for a master backup? right now I took the Blu Ray profile, and changed the bitrate to 25mbps. I tried on 3 different boxes with vegas 9, same result.ĭo you guys have any idea how this could be fixed? any way to maybe change the codec displayed by mp4box when muxing so it makes vegas think it's the same file type as the other? I tried with a default encode, I tried using YAMB instead of megui. The resulting file looks better visually (gamma increase/lighter/more contrast/more vibrant in vegas ) which is good, but the playback falls down to 8-12FPS only. But when I use megui to mux audio/video into a single file, then that's where I run into problem.
#MP4 PREVIEW BLACK SONY VEGAS PRO 16 MP4#
Problem is, if I export the mp4 video alone (codec avc1) and the audio as mp3, I can put these two back in vegas no problem and get a perfect 29.97 Playback at full quality. I figured I'd frameserve from vegas to megui and get x264 to do the job. after much testing using Sony's AVC that crashes, mainconcept's avc that looks bad. The second reason is we are most likely going to go the AVC route and get some AVC cameras, so finding a good avc/h264 solution is needed at this point. I was going to use HDV but then did some research and thought I'd go the route of H.264 and keep a really high quality save. We're currently running off ProRes, but the files are 40GB for 20 mins and it's a hassle to work with. Been reading a lot on the boards about x264 as I am trying to find a good backup/high quality HD master solution.
